The right tech team puts you in the spotlight.
Sometimes the best production crew is the one you don’t even notice – because they’re that good.
Hand in Hand Productions takes the guesswork out of how to make your public event shine – large or small.
From on-stage productions to public school events, we’ll take the complexities out of the “behind-the-scenes” so that you can breathe easy.

We’re passionate about enabling others to reach their goals. A big reason you can count on Hand in Hand Productions is that we truly care.
We’re invested in your success.

What we produce
No two public events are the same — and that’s exactly what makes this work interesting.
City council & government meetings
For government bodies, the meeting infrastructure has to work every time — not most of the time. We set up hybrid systems that give remote participants a real seat at the table, then configure them to run reliably meeting after meeting.
School productions & graduations
From spring productions to graduation ceremonies — schools shouldn’t have to choose between quality and cost. We bring broadcast-grade audio and projection to events where that level of production usually isn’t accessible.
Community celebrations & fundraisers
Galas, ribbon cuttings, town center events — the kind of public moments that end up on the news or social media. We handle the production infrastructure so organizers can focus on the event, not the AV.
Public speaker events & town halls
The fastest way to lose an audience at a speaker event is bad audio. We design for full-room coverage — every seat, not just the front rows — with livestream built in when the audience extends beyond the venue.
Outdoor festivals & concerts
Outdoor events are where livestream infrastructure gets tested. We configure broadcast-grade multi-camera streams for festivals and concerts — cellular bonding so the stream holds regardless of what the venue’s connectivity looks like, hardware encoding, and a full crew from load-in to strike.
What’s included when you work with us
Here’s what we bring to the field on a public event.
Sound reinforcement
Broadcast-grade PA systems scaled to your venue. We do the site walk, design the system for the space, and operate it day-of so your speakers sound like speakers.
Live streaming & hybrid setup
A reliable stream from the source — not a phone propped against a wall. Remote viewers get good audio, proper framing, and stable connectivity.
Video projection & LED displays
Program graphics, speaker slides, or live camera feeds to screens throughout the venue. Configured to serve the audience, not just fill space.
Stage & event lighting
From simple wash lighting to dynamic looks for concerts and performances, configured to complement your event’s tone.
On-site technical direction
We’re there the whole time, not just for setup. Someone experienced is watching the board during your event — not watching from the crowd.
Regular meeting cadence is critical for most government organizations
When folks can’t join in person it’s essential that the meeting is set up to reliably serve the needs and outcomes.
Hand in Hand Productions gives each speaker the floor and every attendee an in-person experience regardless of location.
Based in Central Oregon, working throughout the Pacific Northwest
Hand in Hand Productions is based in Bend, Oregon. We regularly produce public events across Central Oregon — Bend, Redmond, Prineville, Sisters, La Pine — and throughout the Pacific Northwest. If you’re planning an event in the region and want to know if we’re the right fit, get in touch — we’d rather have a short conversation upfront than have you guess.
Common questions
Things people ask us before booking a public event.
How far in advance should we book public event production?
For larger public events — outdoor festivals, graduations, major community events — 6 to 8 weeks out is the sweet spot. That’s when we do the site walk, sort out power and rigging, and make sure the infrastructure is right for your specific venue. For smaller events, 2 to 3 weeks is usually workable.
Do you handle outdoor events?
Yes — outdoor events are a significant part of what we do. The key here is that the environment becomes part of the technical equation: acoustic behavior, direct sunlight on screens, power access, weather contingencies. We factor all of that in upfront so nothing surprises you on event day.
Can you live stream our public event?
Absolutely. We set up broadcast-grade streams, not consumer workarounds. Whether your audience is joining remotely because they can’t attend in person, or because the event has a digital component, we configure the stream so remote viewers get a real experience — good audio, proper framing, and reliable connectivity.
What size events do you support?
We’ve produced events ranging from 50-person community meetings to multi-stage outdoor festivals with crowds in the thousands. The infrastructure scales — what doesn’t change is the level of attention the event gets.
Do you provide equipment, or do we need to rent separately?
We bring our own broadcast-grade gear to every event. No separate rental coordination on your end — we configure it for your space and own the setup from load-in to strike.
